Why Visit?

—Why Visit Kirkwood Road Christian Church?

We asked families who regularly attend to share why they attend.

–I love the Bible-based teaching that is always part of the Sunday sermon—and having the nursery is great so my husband and I can worship together.

–Wednesday night suppers and Bible study help me stay connected to my church family and learn more about God’s word.  

–The Puppet Ministry performances are fun for the whole family.

–I like that we take Communion every Sunday.  Communion makes me feel more connected to Christ.

–For me, it’s all the different ways I can volunteer and be involved with the church.   I enjoy gardening, so service on the landscaping committee is fun for me.

–The Church feels like a family.  When someone needs help – the church gathers around to support them.  If you’re a single person, it’s so nice to have people who care and check on you.

–Outreach is important to me.  So I like that on Wednesday Night, we have two large vans that bring neighborhood children to the church to enjoy fellowship with a hot meal and then break into age groups for bible study and worship time. 

–The Children’s Ministry for sure!   My kids look forward to the Sunday Children’s Church and the summer Vacation Bible School –and the Wednesday Night Teen group.

–It’s the whole package, Bible-based sermons with uplifting and encouraging music and a great group of friends who are more like family
